Talking Pictures signs two-year Bangladesh Premier League T20 Cricket deal

Talking Pictures Productions, Bahrain’s premier film and post production house, has signed an exclusive 2 year contract with the Bangladesh Premier League T20 (BPL T20) for the broadcast coverage and development of TV graphical content for the international cricket tournament . The contract represents the first major international sports league production deal for Talking Pictures Productions, having beaten major global sports production agencies for the prestigious deal.

BPL T20 is the first official T20 cricket tournament in Bangladesh taking place under the patronage of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. With an exciting array of international cricket stars participating such as Chris Gayle, Muttiah Muralitharan, Sanath Jayasuriya, Shakib ul Hasan ,Tamim Iqbal ,Shahid Afridi, Kieron Pollard & Dwayne Bravo , the tournament has already created a buzz in cricketing circles globally. The tournament features 6 franchise teams from all around Bangladesh and is being broadcast worldwide to millions of viewers on major international TV networks such as ESPN / STAR SPORTS  in India, Geo in Pakistan, Super Sport in South Africa, NTV in UK, Rupavahini in  Sri Lanka and Channel 9 in Bangladesh. The production also features renowned cricket commentators such as Sunil Gavaskar( India), Pat Symcox (South Africa), Danny Morrison (New Zealand) & Dean Jones (Australia) & Arun Lal [India]

Through a fully independent international team, Talking Pictures will be responsible for the television coverage and production of TV graphical content/ media for TV audiences globally.  According to CEO Sanjay Kapoor, the contract represents the first international footprint for Talking Pictures, which has grown to be the leading production house in Bahrain since its inception in 2007. ‘I am extremely delighted that the standards we have set for ourselves as a production house have garnered international recognition.
